Podcasters

There are 3 ways to listen to podcasts:

1. Use the player provided on the podcast page to stream in now - no downloads required.

    

2. Download the mp3 file to play later in your mp3 player, ITunes, IPod etc by right clicking on the link with each Podcast description and downloading it into one of your directories.

    

3. Subscription with a Podcatcher:
   Why subscribe? If you decide you like the show and want to listen regularly, the podcatcher program will do 2 things for you:
   1. Collect new episodes from the podcast's website and download them to your computer, without you losing track of where the website is. You can set the software to check weekly, manually, on opening the program.
   2. Organises podcast files and shows any information about the show tagged to the file. For example this may be useful if
      • you want to search through them to find a particular episode from months ago
      • you start listening to a few podcasts, it is much quicker for the podcatcher to check for new episodes than it is for you to go back to each website
