ACT/NSW Branch Administration Manager

SCHADS Level 5 $87,594 - $91,553 p.a. pro-rata, excluding super. 12 hours per week (flexible)

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Association as we launch our refreshed brand and new digital-membership platform. 

The role

As ACT/NSW Branch Administration Manager, you will oversee the operations and administration of the ACT/NSW Branch of the Australian Breastfeeding Association.

The Australian Breastfeeding Association is Australia’s peak body for the support and promotion of breastfeeding. We are a community of thousands of members, supported by a thousand qualified volunteer breastfeeding counsellors and educators. We are there for new parents 24/7 including in the middle of the night when things often feel really hard. We provide community and connection, when other care services and supports are inaccessible, and mums feel like they are on their own. We reach hundreds of thousands of mums, parents, and families each year connecting them with breastfeeding information, social interaction, and support.  

Essential skills and experience

  • Experience in managing operations / administration to deliver an efficient and responsive service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, management, or a relevant field
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work and collaborate with a diverse range of colleagues, volunteers, and Association members
  • Creativity, initiative, and excitement about our mission

As an employee of a registered charity, you can salary package up to $15,900 each Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year for general living expenses.
