Colourathon at National Gallery of Australia

Event date:
Thursday, November 30, 2017 - 11:00 to 12:30
Event Location:
National Gallery of Australia

Colourathon is a fun, engaging, public-participation art-marathon at the National Gallery of Australia. Big hART is Australia’s leading arts and social change organisation, involving participants from Project O - a project aimed at raising awareness of family violence and driving generational change.

Project O participants are young women from Wynyard (Tasmania), Cooma NSW, Canberra (ACT) and Roebourne (WA). Every hour of their art-making is sponsored in a public fundraising campaign. Big hART’s partnership with the Australian Childhood Foundation ensures that funds raised will be used to provide training in trauma and play therapy for staff working with young children in women’s shelters.

Australian Breastfeeding Association ACT/SNSW region will be hosting a table at the event from 11:-12:30.  If you'd like to come please email Arianwen.
If the weather is lovely we will meet for a picnic after our time slot has finished.
