Breastfeeding and family relationships

Event date:
Tuesday, September 6, 2016 - 09:00 to 11:00
Event Location:
Robina Library, Robina

The arrival of a new baby really changes the dynamics of relationships within a family, and regardless of how that new baby is being fed there can be other factors in play as well. Is your experience completely normal or fairly unusual, and how do you cope with these changes?

We welcome all mothers, fathers, babies, older children, pregnant women, and other family members who would like to visit. You do not have to be breastfeeding to attend, and it is not necessary to RSVP to any of our activities. All conversations remain confidential.

Please bring a plate of something to share if you are able (though it‘s okay to come empty-handed). Tea and coffee are available. There is always a qualified breastfeeding counsellor present at our get-togethers to chat with you about any concerns you may have.
