Breastfeeding and partners

Event date:
Wednesday, May 29, 2019 - 10:00 to 12:00
Event Location:

Studies have shown that having a partner's support while breastfeeding is a significant contributor to breastfeeding success. What does a supportive partner do? How does breastfeeding affect relationships? We'll chat about these ideas and more at this catch-up. We hope to see you there.

About our meetings:
Our discussion meetings are held regularly in Geelong and the surrounding areas. All mums and mums-to-be are invited to join us. Please feel free to bring a partner, grandparent or support person. Children of all ages are always welcome and wherever possible we try to have toys and activities to keep them entertained and engaged.
Our meetings are a great opportunity to meet other mums and discuss all kinds of parenting topics, not just breastfeeding. Mums who are not breastfeeding are always welcome. We chat in an informal, relaxed setting and most meetings have a qualified Breastfeeding Counsellor in attendance who can assist you with any breastfeeding questions, worries or issues you may be having.
Please don't worry if you are running late, we know babies and young children can't read the clock. Tea and coffee is provided.
Many wonderful friendships have been formed through our local group. If you are looking to meet friendly, like-minded mums and talk about the joys and frustrations of parenthood, we just might be the village for you!
