BLISS: Breastfeeding, Laughter, Information, Support & Socialising

Event date:
Monday, May 16, 2022 - 13:30 to 15:00
Event Location:
Carnegie Childrens' Multipurpose Centre

No set discussion topic for today - drop in at whatever time suits to enjoy the company of other breastfeeding mums, a cup of tea, someone to hold your baby while you drink it, sharing stories, a new venue to entertain your toddler for an hour or so...

Individual breastfeeding counselling will also be available at the meeting.

Current COVID-safe settings for our meetings: we no longer have to check vaccination status at the door or use the Service Victoria codes to check in, but you will still need to fill in ABA's attendance records either via QR code or on the physical sheet.
Masks are recommended indoors but not required. I will be leaving the doors open as much as the weather permits to maximise air flow, and in winter our venue has heating and air circulation and a lovely high ceiling which should help.
We are allowed to share food once again! So if you have time/inclination please bring along something to share for afternoon tea. We have a kitchenette and I will be bringing tea/coffee/milk supplies.
Our new venue has lovely comfy couches, blocks and books for toddlers, as well as the sandpit and fenced play area outside. There are toilets for both adults and little people, as well as a change table - but please bring a bag to take home your dirty nappies. You may also wish to bring a bunny rug for bub to lie on.
