Breastfeeding Challenges from Early Days onwards

Event date:
Friday, April 1, 2022 - 10:00 to 12:00
Event Location:
We will meet in the park at Glenhaven Oval between the Community Centre and The Tuckshop.

The Hills Groups invites you to our first face to face meeting this year! Friday 1st April 2022 10 am.

We will meet in the park at Glenhaven Oval between the Community Centre and The Tuckshop. Come along and join us; the first coffee/tea is on us!

If it rains, we'll meet at the Tuckshop.

Join us for a chat - ask any questions or share your successes in overcoming breastfeeding challenges.

There can be a range of different challenges from the early days right through to weaning - we are here to help you find a way through.

We'll have a chat and can talk about anything breastfeeding and parenting related - or just chat about whatever comes up.

A counsellor will be available for a chat if you have any questions or need breastfeeding support, or just come for a chat and play in the park.

Have you already been a mum in this situation? Would you mind sharing some tips? Do you still have any issues to resolve? Please come - it's helpful for others to hear your experiences. And we have trained volunteers on hand to guide the discussion and share ABA's great information, suggestions, and resources.

*** If you or your child are unwell, we respectfully ask you not to attend. ***

All attendees will be required to answer a Covid-19 Questionnaire on arrival (parents to respond on behalf of children): i. Are you currently required to be in isolation because you have been diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19)? ii. Have you been directed to a period of quarantine due to being in close contact with someone with coronavirus (COVID-19)? iii. Are you experiencing any of these symptoms – fever, chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of sense of smell?
