Breastfeeding Information Content Working Group member

Are you passionate about providing trusted, evidence-based breastfeeding information to parents? We are seeking members for ABA's Breastfeeding Information Content Working Group.


The Leadership Engagement Support Team Working Group aims to enable ABA's mission by ensuring that volunteer leadership is promoted, supported and celebrated.

About the role

As part of ABA's Breastfeeding Information Content Working Group, you will help to: 

  • review ABA’s Breastfeeding Information content on a cyclical basis and recommend appropriate changes for approval
  • maintain a consistent evidence based and high-quality standard of Australian Breastfeeding Association digital and print information

The hours required by the role are flexible.

Key skills

  • ABA Cert IV Breastfeeding Education
  • Health Professional qualification and/or IBCLC - desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate research
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to edit written information for different audiences
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
     

Location

This is a remote volunteer role that can be done from anywhere in Australia.
