Our next Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) Tenterfield-Granite Belt Group catch up is at Weeroona Park, Stanthorpe on Friday, 25 November 2022 at 9:30am.
We can have a catch and general Q&A about breastfeeding.
All mums, dads and kids are welcome, as well as any friends or extended family members. It would be great to see you all there!
BYO food and drink.
We will let you know if there are any changes to the event if the weather is too wet or cold, so keep an eye on this FB event page. Feel free to share it!
Don't feel stressed about arriving on time, we know how hard it can be with kids!
NB- All ABA events have a COVID-19 plan and there are a few requirements-
Volunteers, members and guests
a) Before each event, volunteers, members and guests will be:
i. briefed on this COVID-19 Safety plan and good hygiene, regular sanitisation of surfaces and equipment.
ii. reminded NOT to come to the event if they are unwell. COVID 19 ABA Safety Plan V1
iii. reminded to maintain physical (social) distancing. iv. reminded that health and safety concerns or questions can be raised with Event Host, Anita, Group Leaders or the Branch Office where available
b) A record will identify all attendees (including children), their time of arrival and time of departure. This record will be kept electronically or on paper using the ABA attendance sheet. This sheet must be retained by the group leader for the duration of the COVID-19 Safe practices.
c) All attendees will be required to answer a COVID-19 Questionnaire on arrival (parents to answer on behalf of children):
i. Are you currently required to be in isolation because you have been diagnosed with COVID-19?
ii. Have you been directed to a period of 14-day quarantine by the Department of Health and Human Services as a result of being a close contact of someone with COVID-19?
iii. Are you experiencing any of these symptoms – fever, chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of sense of smell?
d) Any attendees (adults or children) answering yes to any of the COVID-19 questions will not be allowed to join the event.
e) The Event host is authorised to request anyone showing any symptoms during the event to leave immediately.
