Join us for a casual discussion on the transition to motherhood and how this can influence breastfeeding. Matresence is a word used to describe the physical, emotional and hormonal transition to motherhood. While this can be a time of great joy, it is also a time of new identity and new challenges in life.
There will be time before and after that to chat one on one about other issues to do with breastfeeding or parenting.
We meet in the Playgroup Rooms of Flamingo Children's Centre (21 Merryn Grove, Wantirna South 3152) between 10am - 12pm on Tuesdays during school terms.
Most weeks we have a casual gathering of mums, bubs, toddlers and preschoolers (and sometimes other assorted family members) sharing experiences and supporting one another, but every few weeks we have an informal discussion of a particular topic relating to breastfeeding or parenting.
Both coffee mornings and discussion meetings offer those present an opportunity to share their experiences and support each other through different breastfeeding and parenting challenges or situations.
Personal Breastfeeding Counselling with a trained and qualified Breastfeeding Counsellor is available to answer any questions or discuss any breastfeeding or parenting issues, difficulties or challenges in confidence.
