You and your baby have made it past a year of breastfeeding. Congratulations!
It can be hard to imagine how feeding an older baby or toddler could work for your family - especially as many mums find that family and friends feel uncomfortable with the idea of breastfeeding beyond 12 months. However, breastfeeding continues to provide benefits to both you and your child. If you aren't ready to wean you don't have to!
You may (or may not!) be thinking about making some gentle changes, such as dropping the night-time breastfeeds, but perhaps you're not feeling too sure how to go about it.
Bring all your questions and we will share some information and ideas about how to manage breastfeeding for your older baby or toddler.
There will be a Breastfeeding Counsellor present if you have an individual breastfeeding question or are needing some support.
This is a very relaxed meet up – it’s fine if you come late/leave early – we know what it’s like to be operating on baby time!
Partners, expectant parents, friends, and children are welcome.
