Let’s bust some myths together! This fun, friendly session will explore common questions and beliefs about breastfeeding—what’s fact, what’s fiction, and what’s somewhere in between. It’s a safe space to share experiences, ask questions, and get some clarity while connecting with other mums and families on the journey.
Our sessions involve getting together to participate in a group chat on a particular topic. After a general welcome and introduction we will have around 15-20 minutes of facilitated discussion, followed by informal social time and individual support with a breastfeeding counsellor.
Participants are encouraged to share experiences, ask questions, and provide input.
We meet at Shaftesbury Street Park, Tarragindi (on the Laura Street side, near the playground). A drink of choice is included from the nearby cafe. BYO picnic blanket or chair.
This is a very relaxed catch up – it’s fine if you come late/leave early – we know what it’s like to be operating on baby time! Partners, expectant parents, friends, and children of any age are welcome.
If you have breastfeeding questions that you would like support with, a trained breastfeeding counsellor will be there to help you.
