One of the Australian Breastfeeding Association’s biggest annual celebrations National Mothering Week is all about recognising and honouring mums for all that they do. The theme for this year’s National Mothering Week is Making it work – wherever you’re at. This theme celebrates the varied and diverse ways that mums and families navigate life with young children. It's an invitation to start a conversation about the sometimes messy, always unique experience of motherhood; and acknowledge that ‘making it work’ (and the pathway to get there) looks different for each mum, at each stage.

Come and join us for a special morning tea to celebrate National Mothering Week in the Dandenong Ranges! Everyone is welcome, whether you are breastfeeding, bottle-feeding or a bit of both.

There will be a qualified breastfeeding counsellor available to answer any breastfeeding questions you have, or just come along to meet other mums and have a chat while your children play. Older children are welcome to come along too - there is a playground next to the meeting room, plenty of toys and colouring to keep them busy. BYO reusable cup and snacks for your children (no nuts please). We'll provide hot drinks and morning tea.

Feel free to come and go as you need. We'll be there by 9.30am but if you're not able to get there until a little later or leave earlier that's fine!
