Join us this Friday from 10am at Glenhaven Community Centre to help celebrate World Breastfeeding Week.
* Please bring a plate of something to share for a celebratory morning tea! *
We’ll have a chat about the theme for World Breastfeeding Week 2025 Prioritise Breastfeeding: Create sustainable support systems
We know that most mums in Australia start breastfeeding and if you ask mums why they breastfeed, you’ll hear plenty of reasons – some about the health impacts and others about the bonding, or maybe the convenience. Join us for a discussion on what breastfeeding means to you and how we can get support in our own breastfeeding journey.
And, since we know that it takes a village to raise a child with support from the people around us, we’d love it if you can invite your friends too, bring your partner/extended family.
And also let them know about ABA’s FREE webinar designed for support people - Sustaining and supporting breastfeeding Thursday, 7 August at 7:30pm AEST.
