When families are considering leaving their baby with a carer, it’s natural to have many questions and concerns.
- You might wonder how your baby is going to cope.
- Will they take your expressed breastmilk?
- Will the carers be knowledgeable about handling expressed breastmilk and how a breastfed baby behaves?
- You might be concerned about the level of support your carer or educator will have for feeding your baby expressed milk or even their provisions for mums to breastfeed at the centre.
Like most things, a little planning goes a long way. At this session we intend to share and learn together as we discuss how to prepare for early childhood care.
All Welcome!! Bring your partner, a friend or other family and come along. It's a great chance to meet other local parents.
Tea and coffee is provided or grab something from the nearby cafe and if you can bring a plate to share it will be appreciated. There is plenty of parking on site.
As always, a breastfeeding counsellor is available to answer any questions about breastfeeding.
All our events are baby, toddler and pram-friendly. Come when you can and leave when you need to - we know mornings with little ones don't always go to plan!
