This month's topic is weaning. Right from the start some mums have an idea about how long they will breastfeed. This predicted time is often influenced by their own ideas and maybe social and family pressures. While some stick to their original plan, many go on to breastfeed for longer than planned. But eventually all babies wean. Today we'll look at why we might wean, how to go about weaning and the emotions we might feel as and after our baby weans.

PlAy-BA is staffed by qualified breastfeeding educators, counsellors and localty mums, who are passionate about supporting other mums and families on their individual journey - wherever it may take them. We are evidence-led and are proudly a judgement-free space.
