For most mothers, the easiest and most efficient way to feed their baby breastmilk is usually at the breast. However, there may be times when this isn't possible, or when expressing milk can be helpful. Do you have questions about expressing? How much milk should you expect? How long can expressed milk be stored? Do you need a pump, or will hand expressing do the job?
Come along to our ABA Mount Barker and District group meeting to learn more about expressing and storing breastmilk. You'll also have the opportunity to chat with trained ABA Breastfeeding Counsellors and connect with other local parents in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Whether you have questions about breastfeeding, expressing, returning to work, introducing solids, sleep, or any other parenting topic, we're here to help with evidence-based information and peer support.
Everyone is welcome, no matter how old your child is or how you feed your baby. No ABA membership is required to attend, we'd love to see you there!
