For most mothers the easiest and most efficient way to feed your baby breastmilk is usually at the breast, but there may be occasions when this is not possible and you need to express your milk. Do you have questions about expressing? How much? How long? Where to store the milk? Do you even need a pump? Today, we will tackle all your questions and more!

Our sessions involve getting together to participate in a group chat on a particular topic. After a general welcome and introduction we will have around 15-20 minutes of facilitated discussion, followed by informal social time and opportunity for individual support with a breastfeeding counsellor.
Participants are encouraged to share experiences, ask questions, and provide input.
We meet at Shaftesbury Street Park, Tarragindi (on the Laura Street side, near the playground). A drink of choice is included from the nearby cafe. BYO picnic blanket or chair.
This is a very relaxed catch up – it’s fine if you come late/leave early – we know what it’s like to be operating on baby time! Partners, expectant parents, friends, and children of any age are welcome.
For any questions on the event, contact tarragindi@breastfeeding.asn.au.
We look forward to seeing you there!
