Are you thinking about starting your baby on solids or wondering how you'll approach it when the time comes?

Breast milk alone provides a baby with all of the nourishment needed for the first 6 months of life. From around 6 months of age, some families introduce family foods to their baby. Come along to learn the signs of a ready baby, and how family foods can be slowly introduced.

Come and meet some other local mums and babies. Everyone is welcome, whether you are pregnant, breastfeeding, bottle-feeding or have weaned.

There will be a qualified breastfeeding counsellor there to answer any breastfeeding questions you have, or just come along to meet other mums and have a chat while your children play.

Older children are welcome to come along too - there is a playground, lots of toys and we'll have some colouring if the weather isn't great.

BYO snacks for little ones (no nuts please) and reusable cup. Hot drinks and morning tea is provided.

Feel free to come and go as you need. We'll be there by 10am but if you're not able to get there until a little later, or leave earlier, that's fine!

Please fill in the group’s attendance record upon arrival and please do not attend if you or the children with you are unwell.
