Join us for morning tea to celebrate National Mothering Week.
National Mothering Week is held annually in the week leading up to Mothers' Day. It is all about celebrating mums, recognising the mothering experience, and holding space for mum-to-mum connection. It is also to remind the broader public about the importance of providing support to mums - at every stage of motherhood.
This year's theme is:
"Motherhood - making it work, wherever you're at".
Join us for morning tea and a chat as we celebrate the varied and diverse ways that mums and families navigate life with young children.
There will be free cake, tea, and barista coffee available, so you don't need to bring a plate.
We will be at 17 Victa Rd, East Bendigo in the Reforming Church building cafeteria area, which is close by the entrance to the Bendigo Airport.
During the morning tea there will be time for you to ask a local counsellor any individual questions.
All welcome, you don't have to be a current ABA member.
There is a bus stop close-by in McDowells Rd, with buses arriving and departing regularly at 38 minutes past the hour. If you are planning to arrive by bus, please notify us in advance so we can have someone there to meet you at the venue before our scheduled start time of 10am.
