“See mums, hear mums, support mums”
Today we’ll be sharing some strategies and tips to hopefully make family life a little easier, and to help you be seen and heard as a mother.
In the lead up to National Mothering Week (4th – 10th May), we are coming together to celebrate motherhood, and also to “see, hear and support” you. A relaxed discussion around what we enjoy, the challenges and how & where we might each find support. Join in on this discussion, or just come along for the support or assistance that mum-to-mum collective groups offer. We are welcome for all- no matter where you are in your journey.
Along with celebrating National Mothering Week, we will also include some discussion around returning to work, what that may look like and how some mums make it work for them. Join us to discuss and help one another.
Bring any questions that may be on your mind and a plate of morning tea to share, if you find the time (not expected).
All welcome. If you or your Bub are unwell, please do stay home to recover. If you need some assistance and cannot make it to our local group, there are other ways to find support from the Australian Breastfeeding Association. These include the 24/7 National Helpline – 1800 686 268 and LiveChat at www.breastfeeding.asn.au
