This year's National Mothering Week theme is "making it work - wherever you're at". National Mothering week celebrates the varied and diverse ways that mums and families navigate life with young children. This theme aims to start a conversation about the sometimes messy, always unique experience of motherhood; and to acknowledge that ‘making it work’ (and the pathway to get there) looks different for each mum, at each stage.
We will break our catch up into two stages, feel free to come to one or both! We will meet at 10am at the old Seville Train Station along the Warburton Highway. At 10:15, we will walk the approximately 1.5km to Ducky's Cafe in Seville. We plan to walk at a leisurely pace, wandering toddlers welcome. We will aim to finish our catch up at the cafe from 11am-12midday.
As usual, there will be Breastfeeding Counsellors present if you have any breastfeeding questions you'd like to discuss and, of course, it's a good opportunity to catch up with other parents in a breastfeeding supportive environment.
Children and babies are always welcome at our meetings.
