Many of us have experienced sore nipples or breasts at some point during our breastfeeding journey. We'll be talking about challenges like blocked ducts, mastitis, vasospasm, nipple infections and how to manage these issues if you find yourself dealing with them. 

Come and meet some other local mums and babies. Everyone is welcome, whether you are pregnant, breastfeeding, bottle-feeding or have weaned.

We'll be meeting at a new location - the Playgroup Hall at Upwey Baptist Church, corner Burwood Hwy and Darling Ave. I'll post some photos in the discussion so you can see where to enter. There is pram access at the side gate, but it is a little steep, so I'd recommend using a baby carrier if you have one. Send a pm if you plan to bring your pram and I'll come out and give you a hand with it 

If we need to cancel due to volunteer illness, we'll switch to meeting online via Zoom - I'll post an update here the night before.

There will be a qualified breastfeeding counsellor there to answer any breastfeeding questions you have, or just come along to meet other mums and have a chat while your children play.

Older children are welcome to come along too - there is a playground next to the meeting room and we'll have some colouring and toys if the weather isn't great.

BYO snacks (no nuts please) and reusable cup. Hot drinks and morning tea is provided.

Feel free to come and go as you need. We'll be there by 10am but if you're not able to get there until a little later, or leave earlier, that's fine!
