Despite the social stigma that can exist, breastfeeding beyond babyhood is perfectly normal. As long as you and your baby are happy, there is no upper limit to breastfeeding duration. The World Health Organization recommends exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months and then for breastfeeding to continue alongside complementary foods for 2 years or beyond.

ABA meet ups are welcoming and informal. All mothers are welcome at our meets, whether you are currently breastfeeding, have weaned already, or have not breastfed your baby for whatever reason.
Sometimes we plan to share information and thoughts about breastfeeding and parenting and other times we chat. Breastfeeding is a learned skill so most mums need some help along the way. Join us to enjoy the company and collective wisdom of other mums with children of various ages. Get in touch if you have any questions at all.
A trained Breastfeeding Counsellor is generally available at our meet up to speak with you about any particular breastfeeding issues or concerns you have.
Come and join us for a cuppa at the cafe. We will buy your first drink. Meet inside. We will be seated near the children's play corner
