Generally the "Silly Season" is the Christmas/New Year period.
Many mums realise that routines change, babies behave differently, and generally we find that lots of questions or concerns about various topics come up around the end of the year.
Come along to our Surviving the Silly Season topic meeting where we will chat about:
- Supply: reasons why it may change and how to be mindful of maintaining it
- Relationships: mingling with relatives, dealing with unwanted advice/comments, and boundaries
- Travel: How to cope, what will you need to do, making a plan
- Alcohol: Planning ahead, navigating the FeedSafe App, pumping and dumping myth
- Change in baby behaviour: foods, being passed around, stimulation and new experiences
- Australian Holidays and the heat: how to cope with hot weather, keeping baby cool
We are so excited to spend the beginning of the holiday period with you and your families.
All are welcome to come to our meetings, and we encourage you to bring along any questions you have!
Our meetings are held in a local scout hall with tea and coffee facilities, bathrooms, enclosed outdoor area and large indoor space. We welcome all to our topic meetings, including older children and support people.
