Walk and Talk with ABA South West WA

Event Description:
If your family has you up early, why not join us for a relaxing Walk and Talk session? This event is open to everyone, whether you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, providing breastmilk, no longer breastfeeding, or simply a supporter.

We’ll meet at the Coffee Van at Ridley Place and enjoy a gentle walk along the accessible estuary pathway. This pram-friendly route is perfect for all abilities, allowing us to walk or wheel at a comfortable pace. We’ll head north for approximately 15-20 minutes before turning back to our starting point.

What to Bring:

• Your own water bottles
• Comfortable walking shoes
• SunSmart clothing

After the walk, feel free to grab a coffee or a snack from the Coffee Van and take advantage of the nearby playground for toddlers and older children.

A breastfeeding counsellor will be available during the walk to answer any breastfeeding questions. Alternatively, you can contact the Breastfeeding Helpline on 1800 686 268 or access resources via www.breastfeeding.asn.au.

Important Notes:

• This event may be cancelled in case of unfavourable weather or unforeseen circumstances. (We don’t walk in the rain.)
