We will be joined by special guest speaker, Speech pathologist, Emily, who has a special interest in early childhood speech development.

Join us as we explore the exciting development of pre-linguistic communication skills during your child’s first year. We’ll look at key milestones and discover why these early skills are important building blocks for communication.

We’ll also explore simple ways to tune in to your baby’s communication, respond to their cues and create meaningful interactions that strengthen your connection and support their emerging communication skills.

Connect & Share sessions involve getting together to participate in a facilitated group chat on a particular topic. The session usually has around 15-20 minutes of formal discussion on the topic, followed by questions and social time.

There will be a Breastfeeding Counsellor present if you have an individual breastfeeding question or are needing some support.

This is a very relaxed meet up – it’s fine if you come late/leave early – we know what it’s like to be operating on baby time!

Partners, expectant parents, friends, and children are welcome.
