ACT NSW Branch Operations and Administration Manager

In this pivotal role, you will ensure the efficient and professional operation of the ACT & NSW Branch Office, driving excellence across all areas of administration and operations. You will manage a dedicated office team and provide high-level support to the Branch President and Leadership Team, overseeing compliance with budgets, grants, and reporting requirements.

Your strong organisational skills will be key in managing office resources, implementing workplace health and safety, and ensuring ABA policies and procedures are upheld. You will play a central role in coordinating major branch events, including the annual Branch Conference, from planning programs and securing speakers to managing ticketing and budgets. This hands-on role includes overseeing event setup and delivery, often outside standard hours, ensuring every detail runs seamlessly.

Beyond operations, you will foster volunteer engagement across ACT and NSW, maintain relationships with health networks, hospitals, and community organisations, and represent the branch in ABA working groups. You will also support grant management, reporting, and sourcing new funding opportunities to strengthen branch initiatives.

This role can be based at either our ACT or NSW office.

At ABA, you will be part of a highly committed, supportive team who are passionate about enabling mums, parents and families to give their babies the best start in life.

This part-time role (15 hours per week) classified as SCHADS Level 5.1, with an hourly rate of $51.00, excluding superannuation.

As an employee of a charity holding DGR status, you are able to salary package up to $18,550 each Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year.

Tuesdays form a core day for branch operations, so the successful candidate will need to include Tuesday hours in their availability.
