When families are considering leaving their baby with a carer, it’s natural to have many questions and concerns.
- You might wonder how your baby is going to cope.
- Will they take your expressed breastmilk?
- Will the carers be knowledgeable about handling expressed breastmilk and how a breastfed baby behaves?
- You might be concerned about the level of support your carer or educator will have for feeding your baby expressed milk or even their provisions for mums to breastfeed at the centre.
Like most things, a little planning goes a long way. At this session we intend to share and learn together as we discuss how to prepare for early childhood care.
And as always, a breastfeeding counsellor is available to answer any questions about breastfeeding.
We have a lovely airconditioned Playgroup Room with an adjoining outdoor covered playground.
If you can, please bring a plate to share for morning tea. Tea & Coffee is provided – or stop by the nearby café on your way.
Not made it to an ABA meeting before? We'd love you to join us for this or any of our meet ups. It's a great chance to meet other local parents. Bring your partner, other family or friends – Everyone is welcome.
*A gentle reminder that if you or your little one is unwell, please stay home and we will look forward to seeing you another time*
