Being a mother is a challenging role in our lives. At times, everyday situations can seem more stressful, as mums not only need to think of their own needs, but their child/ren as well. There may be circumstances where mum and baby are separated or not feeding at the breast. During these times, breastfeeding or providing breastmilk can be a source of both comfort and connection. Today we’re going to talk about the role that breastfeeding has aside from the nutrition it provides babies. We’ll share our experiences of how breastfeeding supports mums as well as babies.
And as always, a breastfeeding counsellor is available to answer any questions about breastfeeding.
We have a lovely air conditioned Playgroup Room with an adjoining outdoor covered playground.
If you can, please bring a plate to share for morning tea.
Not made it to an ABA meeting before? We'd love you to join us for this or any of our meet ups. It's a great chance to meet other local parents
*** If you or your child are unwell, we respectfully ask you not to attend. ***
