Small change. Big support for mums and babies.
Every time you return a can or bottle, you have the power to support breastfeeding mums and their babies across Australia.
When you return eligible containers through your local container deposit scheme, simply nominate ABA as your preferred charity.
Each 10-cent refund you donate helps us power vital advocacy and support, especially during National Mothering Week (4-10 May, 2026) and World Breastfeeding Week (7-10 Aug, 2026) - two key moments when we celebrate, empower, and connect mothers and families across Australia.
A single container may feel small but together, they add up to something powerful. Every donated refund helps ABA:
Advocacy: Your donations fuel our campaigns to ensure every parent has access to trusted breastfeeding information, peer support, and community connection—whenever and wherever they need it.
Celebration & awareness: Funds raised will help us amplify the voices of mothers, share real stories, and champion breastfeeding-friendly communities during National Mothering Week and World Breastfeeding Week.
Sustained support: Every can you donate helps us train volunteers, run education courses, and provide evidence-based guidance for families nationwide.

Here is what your donations will make possible. Simonetta shared:
‘The Breastfeeding Education Course was so helpful and informative, with knowledgeable mums sharing guidance and real-life experience. There is always someone available to answer my questions. I often use the ABA website as a go to source of information and support.’
