The Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) is dedicated to supporting you in your role as a health professional, including through our experienced Breastfeeding Information & Research and Training teams.
Become a professional member of ABA and join the hundreds of health professionals who receive the latest in information, research and professional development through ABA each year. As a professional member you can enhance your skills, update your knowledge and provide the best service to your clients. Our Professional Members are individuals or organisations who provide information to pregnant women and new parents such as midwives, doulas, nurses, doctors, and lactation consultants or organisations like hospitals, health services, libraries and local authorities.
We also offer a subscriptions to our peer reviewed journal Breastfeeding Review, and to receive bulk copies of our member magazine Essence.

Stay a member of the ABA family by renewing your membership today
Many mothers have a break when they are not breastfeeding but may be intending to have another child in the future. Even if you are not breastfeeding for a while you can continue to get support in general parenting from information in Essence magazine, our monthly member eNewsletter and mother-to-mother at ABA group get-togethers.
By renewing your membership, you are also continuing to support ABA’s work. Our organisation cannot continue to provide its services without the financial support which your membership provides.
