Employer FAQs

What happens in the event that our organisation doesn’t meet accreditation standards when audited for BFW Accreditation?

If any areas of non-compliance are noted, a detailed report will be provided outlining the areas of concern and improvements that must be made to meet the accreditation standard within one month of receiving the feedback. After implementation of these improvements has been confirmed, you will be awarded Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace Accreditation.

How many times can we be re-audited?

Your initial application fee allows for two Accreditation Audits. If you are deemed not compliant after a second audit and a third audit is required a further fee will be payable.
